BIO

Jamie Conviser was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. She studied classical piano for 15 years under Dr. Rosalina Sackstein beginning at 6 years old, a pupil of world-renowned concert pianist Claudio Arrau, and piano professor at the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Jamie has won numerous piano competitions for the Florida State Federation of Music Clubs, including the winner of state Solo, Duo, Duet and Senior Piano Concerto Competitions. Jamie attended the University of Miami Choral Camp and received the award for Spotlight Soloist for piano three years in a row. In High School, Jamie also began studying classical guitar, voice, violin and was President of the Miami Beach Senior High School Concert Orchestra. During this time, she was also nominated for the prestigious Miami Herald Silver Knight Award in Music, Irene Muir Piano Competition and attended the University of Miami Frost School of Music on a full-tuition piano music scholarship, graduating with a Bachelors of Music Degree in Piano Performance. In addition, she performed a Junior and Senior Piano Recital at Gusman Hall, arranged and performed electronic keyboard with the University of Miami Electronic Music Ensemble, and accompanied student vocalists and instrumentalists for juries and recitals. She is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Honor Society. Jamie also studied motion pictures, video production, editing, drawing and web graphic design. 

In 2001, Jamie relocated to Orlando, FL and attended the Walt Disney World College Program as a Residential Community Advisor as well as the Walt Disney World International Program. Once completing her program, she began working as a Guest Relations Hostess at Epcot in the summer of 2002. Her career at the Walt Disney Company began shortly afterwards, as she joined the Music Department as a full-time Music Production Assistant for Walt Disney World Creative Entertainment in Kissimmee, FL. In 2005, Jamie became the youngest female Associate Music Director for global Disney Parks Entertainment where she assisted with producing global shows including “Wishes: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams” nighttime fireworks spectacular, “The American Idol Experience,” Tokyo DisneySea “Braviseamo” nighttime spectacular, and “Finding Nemo: The Musical,” which won the THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Live Show. 

In 2010, Jamie moved to Los Angeles, CA and began working on the “Winnie The Pooh” feature film at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Shortly after, she was hired as Music Producer and Production Coordinator for Walt Disney Imagineering Interactive on the grand opening of the Disney Dream Cruise Line. Later in 2010, Jamie joined the exclusive Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development in Glendale, CA as Producer for the Walt Disney World Haunted Mansion “Hitchhiking Ghosts” Scene 13b attraction. In addition to working on many top-secret mockups and new technological inventions, she was the Associate Producer for the Magic Kingdom “Journey of The Little Mermaid" interactive queue, autonomous boat design for "Rivers of Light," and Na’vi animatronic for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Pandora: The World of Avatar’s attraction “Na’vi River Journey” to name a few of her projects. 


In 2014, Jamie was hired as the Associate Entertainment Producer for Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment on the Hong Kong Disneyland “Mickey and the Wondrous Book” stage show as well as Music Production Supervisor for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and Marketing where she supervised music for global Disney Park attractions, live entertainment and marketing events worldwide. During this time, Jamie was also the Associate Producer for the Hong Kong Disneyland castle and park expansion production team. In 2017, Jamie joined the Disney Live Entertainment Music Department back in Orlando, FL as Associate Music Producer. She has produced music for live shows at Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Special Events including the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Virtual Showcase, Epcot 50th Anniversary Opening Reception, Magic Kingdom's "Mickey & Minnie's Very Merry Memories" Holiday Castle Show, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (Live Entertainment/BGM), Disney’s Hollywood Studios “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” Grand Opening Dedication and Press Event, Disney Cruise Line “Marvel Day at Sea,” "Pixar Day at Sea," NYC Saks Fifth Avenue Live and Light Shows in 2017 and 2019, Disney Cruise Line "Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party," "Mickey and Minnie's Merrytime Tree Lighting," "This Is Magic - Tiana's Bayou Adventure" Dedication and Media Event, TV specials, festivals and global touring events. 

With over 20 years of experience in the live entertainment industry and R&D departments, Jamie has worked with the top composers, orchestrators, arrangers, designers, technicians, programmers, and performers in the world. On her free time, she loves traveling, hiking, yoga, pilates, video games, attending live concerts, art museums/installations, astronomy, music engineering/sound design and is passionate about environmental and animal rights organizations. 

Jamie has produced numerous successful soundtracks for the Walt Disney Company and is continuing her focus on blending the arts with the latest technologies.
